2026 Vacation Bible School

Registration for VBS 2026 will open May 2, 2026

REGISTRATION HINTS:

1. Registration Contact is the parent. Attendee is the child. If you have never registered for a SUMC Family Ministries event before, you may have to create two profiles, one for the parent and one for the child. 
2. GRADE is the student's 2025-2026 grade. Even if they are in year-round school and will have started the next grade by the time of VBS, please use their 2025-2026 school year grade. If your student is not yet in Kindergarten, you can leave the grade blank.
3. This year we have included a digital version of our medical form. Please answer all the questions so we can make sure to keep your student healthy! We know it might seem like we are asking for your grade in school and your allergy information repetitively. We are. But we have also eliminated the paper medical form this year, so this process should be much easier. And each one of these questions goes a different place in our database to make sure we keep your information accurate.

At Soapstone our fun-filled Vacation Bible School (VBS) program connects the children with God through a creative theme. Our week consists of games, snacks, crafts, science and, of course, Bible stories.

Join us for a Snowball Mountain Challenge!
Kids will step into the action as Challengers, ready to take on frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on experiences that build resilience and faith! Each day, they’ll be cheered on by Ollie the Arctic Seal, our fun-loving field reporter who keeps everyone in the loop as the adventure unfolds. Challengers won’t just play—they’ll discover how to draw real strength from their faith through powerful stories of courage, perseverance, and hope. With an unforgettable winter theme and solid theology at its core, this VBS overflows with joy and purpose, reminding kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NRSV). 

We have a morning session for ages 3 through those completing Kindergarten and an evening session for those completing Kindergarten through 5th grade. Morning session is 9:30am to noon each day, and evening session is 6:00-8pm each evening.

Important Dates:
Kick-off: Sunday night July 19, 2026 from 5:00-6:30
VBS: Monday-Thursday, July 20-23, 2026
Worship: Kids will be singing VBS songs in worship at the 11:00 service on Sunday morning, July 26th.
